The folks over at World Net Daily really did this one up well. It is so hard to believe that so many people can be absolutely blind to the enemies tactics within Saddleback Church. But then, when you consider 2 Timothy chapter 4, it really isn't much of a stretch.
2 Timothy 4:1-4 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

I wonder who is was who solemnly charged Rick Warren in "preaching heresy"................no...........I really don't wonder...........I pretty much know who it was. Paul told Timothy about these types of people in his first letter;
1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

"Happy New Year" from Oprah
It seems as though the deception of this age is enlisting some pretty heavy hitters to promote their agenda. Starting in January of 2008 Oprah will be doing a year long course on the New Age teaching of "A course in Miracles" on her XM Satellite radio program. This "Course in Miracles" is sooooooooo rooted and grounded in the New Age teachings it's pathetic.

The grading of "Ichabod"
1 Samuel 4:19-22 Now his daughter-in-law, Phinehas's wife, was pregnant and about to give birth; and when she heard the news that the ark of God was taken and that her father-in-law and her husband had died, she kneeled down and gave birth, for her pains came upon her. And about the time of her death the women who stood by her said to her, "Do not be afraid, for you have given birth to a son." But she did not answer or pay attention. And she called the boy Ichabod, saying, "The glory has departed from Israel," because the ark of God was taken and because of her father-in-law and her husband. She said, "The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God was taken."
There is an interesting phenomena taking place within many of the so-called “Evangelical” churches today. It’s not a question of “if” there is a sign above the door reading “Ichabod”, it’s more of a “how big is the sign” question. According to the above verse the “glory” had completely departed, it was flat gone. There was no sitting back on her part and theologically pondering to what degree the glory had departed, it was absolutely evident. I believe this was due to the theological fact that it was “God’s” glory………not man’s interpretation of His glory.
One thing I also noticed from the narrative above is that Phinehas’s wife didn’t utter anything after her midwife informed her of having a son. It’s like she knew her fate as she had watched how God was so maligned & marginalized by her husband and sons. It was God speaking prophetically through her that nothing mattered except the boy’s name. I personally believe that because of the shallow intimacy many Evangelical Christians have with their God, or maybe having that intimacy wrapped up in the wrong “god”, we are gauging how big the sign is instead of weeping and repenting over the sign itself. Or perhaps we have made the sign so small in our eyes because of the size of the false glory that we have ramped up to convince ourselves “there is no sign, there is no sign, there is no sign!” Denial is one of the enemy’s primary weapons and he uses it with great effectiveness as we move closer to the end of the age.
This writer believes it’s time to slap ourselves in the face, drink a few cups of coffee and wake up to the reality of “the sign”, and if you find It, be willing to risk being maligned and marginalized to rescue perhaps a few from the fate of Phinehas’s wife;

God's thoughts on Purpose-Driven PEACE
Here is a classic example of how the “Angel of Light” is bringing about his scheme to the usher in the antichrist by using some very deceptive tools. When you carefully examine the words that Condoleezza Rice, a supposedly saved “Christian”, uses in the following news report;

And then you add in the words of Rick Warren with his P.E.A.C.E. plan;
“In every village, in every home, in every business, in every government there is a man of peace, or a woman of peace. Somebody who’s willing to work. DISCLAIMER on last post of October 11th
It has been brought to my attention that of my wording in the post listed below, “Another Purpose-Driven Disaster in the Making”, was a bit on the sarcastic side and had a tendency to turn off some readers. I want to apologize for that and assure everyone that I was not pointing at the sheep, but the leadership (wolves) of this particular church. And, in reality, I was pointing beneath this leadership to where they got their inspiration. The only reason I was even pointing this out at all was that it is a classic example of the Purpose-Driven paradigm that church leadership are using all over the world to “build a church”. I also was challenging the readers to "check things out for themselves".........but that didn't come across very well either. So again, sorry for "the wording" and lack of "complete wording."
Jesus warns His followers about “building” on a correct foundation;
Matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. "And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. "The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell--and great was its fall."
In fact, HE even said HE would build HIS church, and HE would do it HIS way……..without Rick Warren’s so-called help.
Paul reiterated this with his own words;
1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
This Purpose-Driven paradigm is a man-centered foundation at best, and this foundation is being built upon using very successful worldly market-driven practices with all sorts of “spirits” driving them. Why do you think so many church leaders (and I use that term very loosely) can grow a church numerically from a few hundred to several thousand in a few years…….did you ever ask yourself that question?
My whole purpose in this was to remind the readers not to take everything that is labeled “Christian” at face value………but to check out its foundation before going head long into it. God gave us His Holy Spirit for several reasons, one of them being that we would not be swept away into apostasy……..if we are listening;
John 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
Are YOU listening?
Oh……..by the way……one other disclaimer………it was only 87 “decisions” on the first Sunday of the Red Hot Sex sermon……..not over 100 like I stated. Sorry about that!

But they said, 'We will not listen.'
Jeremiah 6:17-19 "And I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen.' "Therefore hear, O nations, And know, O congregation, what is among them. "Hear, O earth: behold, I am bringing disaster on this people, The fruit of their plans, Because they have not listened to My words, And as for My law, they have rejected it also.
God had some ominous warnings given through the prophet Jeremiah to those who "would not listen" and those who "rejected" His law. Much of the same is happening at an unbelievable pace in today's Christianity.
Apostasy is defined as such;
Apostasy (Greek ~ apostasia) appears twice in the New Testament as a noun (Acts 21:21; 2 Thessalonians 2:3) and in Hebrews 3:12 as a verb (aphist—mi, translated “depart”). The Greek term is defined as a falling away, defection, withdrawal, or turning from what one has formerly turned to.
Hebrews 3:12-13 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. (emphasis added)
We all understand that a verb implies "action". The action part of apostasy is "departing", or, "defecting". Another definition for the "falls away" in the above verse would be "an active, rebellious walking away from truth to believe a lie".
Take a look at this quote from 'In the Name of Purpose' pgs. 151,152;
"Baptist pastor Chuck Baldwin posted an article on June 2, 2005, titled. "Christians no different from the world," in which he sadly and beseechingly reported the following;
"Recently, pollster George Barna released his research regarding the beliefs and conduct of today's Christians. The results are shocking! According to Barna, only 9% of America's born again Christians have a biblical worldview, only 9%!
"To determine a biblical world view, Barna used the following 8 point criteria:
1. Believing that absolute moral truths exist.
2. Such truths are defined by the Bible.
3. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life.
4. God is all-knowing, all-powerful creator and still rules today.
5. Salvation is a gift of God and cannot be earned.
6. Christians have a responsibility to share their faith in Christ.
7. Satan is real.
8. The Bible is accurate in all its teachings.
"As any real Christian can see, these 8 points comprise basic Biblical truth. To think that more than 90% of born again Christians would deny any one of these fundamental truths suggests that the vast majority of professing Christians today have no clue as to what being a Christian really means."
WOW.......that was over 2 years ago........if this is accurate, and this writer totally believes it is, then we can consider the apostasy as being at least 90% of the Christian church as we know it today...........90%! That's 90% who are listening to someone other than those proclaiming Biblical truth, and then believing that someone. As they believe these "someones" they "fall away" from the truth and "actively and rebelliously" walk into a lie.
May this be an ominous warning to us all. The children's song that we learned in Sunday school long ago, "Be careful little ears what you hear", takes on a whole new meaning in today's Christianity. It's time to call these so-called "leaders" on the carpet if they are not preaching and teaching Biblical Truth.
It's time to take a risk to rescue out as many as we can from this 90%.

The following article is pretty much a "no brainer" when it comes to 2 Timothy 3: 1-5;
2Ti 3:1-5 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. (emphasis added)
HOLY OBAMA: 'WE CAN CREATE KINGDOM ON EARTH'
My main concern is really with the people Obama is saying are correct in the idea of true evangelicalism............none other than two of the biggest heretics in the church today.....Rick Warren & T.D. Jakes.
I tell you, we best heed Paul's warning.......

And if you think that Satan doesn't know what he's doing.......check out the church that allowed this blasphemy to go on from their pulpit. Check out the size of this church. Check out the number of "flesh pleasing programs" this church has. Check out to see how closely this church resembles your church.....if you dare. It's appropriately named "World" Outreach Center............they are reaching the "world" with this damning pseudo-salvation message............and the "worldly" are sucking it in hook, line and sinker!

The "Chicken Little" complex heart syndrome
Occasionally, when one takes some time and reflects on his or her life, you have to wonder......."what am I doing".........and, "why am I doing what I am doing".
Over the years as I have watched this American Cultural Christianity crumble into a spiritual swill with an ever increasing sulphur smell, I have a tendency to look at myself as the "Chicken Little" cartoon character. He was convinced the sky was falling because something hit him in the head. As he went around trying to convince others of the danger, he was less than accepted. Well, the "spiritual" sky is falling.......and it's not hitting me in the head.....but in the heart. The reason I say "heart", is because just like the other animals ridiculed and looked at Chicken Little as being just little "OFF", watchmen (and watchwomen) are looked at in the same way today. We have been given a very unique spiritual gift of discernment, not just for evil spirits, but discernment of the things the evil spirits create in the hearts of unrepentant & prideful Christians. This is disturbing enough, but then you add the countless number of repentant hearts that are just being led astray by these wolves, and it really breaks your own heart. Because watchmen and women take this gifting very seriously, they have the appearance of being "heartless" in their dealings with apostasy, but that is really not true. Just as Jesus wept over Jerusalem, countless "watchpersons" quietly weep over so many who are walking into certain judgement.
Ken Silva, of Apprising Ministries, wrote and excellent missive called; WARNING: A STORM IS COMING. In it he had the following encouraging words;
"I write also to encourage you dear Christian that you need not fear these “voices” that have been recently raised against you as a resounding gong and a clanging symbol (see–1 Corinthians 13:1), nor should you become discouraged that so few are responding to our teaching. Remember Jesus tells us, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:10-12).
I would encourage each of you to click on the above article and read the whole thing........and then boldly proclaim "the sky is falling".......and it's breaking my HEART!

DRIVEN off the road on PURPOSE
As Jesus was instructing His disciples after He had separated Himself from the crowds (Matthew 5) He came to a point in His instructions that was paramount in their understanding, and ours;
Mat 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.”For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
He followed this statement with the warnings of false prophets who were going to lead people off of this narrow way and onto the expressway to hell;
Mat 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
I mentioned in an earlier post (Another Critique of the Purpose Driven Church) that I was going to revisit Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Quest” and the P.E.A.C.E. plan that he is promoting all over the world. So not to remake the wheel I am going to paste this link http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/05/peace-un.htm for anyone who is interested in seeing an in-depth look into this dastardly program. This is a 3 part look into the dark recesses of the P.E.A.C.E. plan & its association with the United Nations Millennium Goals.
I would like to focus on just one aspect of this plan and tie it into what Jesus said above about the goal of the false prophets and teachers. In the Spiritual Warfare seminars I conduct, there are 3 main enemies we as Christians face daily – The World, The Flesh & The Devil. All 3 most usually work in concert so the enemy can fully accomplish his goal. This goal is to deceive a Christian to get them off track enough that they lead others off the narrow way and on to the expressway to spiritual destruction. In Rick Warren’s case the enemy worked his magic in The Flesh first, his “pride of life”. You can see this in his constant boasting of the number of pastors he is training in his program (at last count over 400,000 world wide). You add to that the magic of The World and its draw into “unity’- apart from the "true" Christ. Then, for the finale, The Devil, who will actually enter the antichrist and will be the epitome of “One World Unity” apart from Christ (Anti-Christ).
I need you to understand that I am not just passing on things that I have studied that I have not been involved in personally. I was invited to speak in one of these P.E.A.C.E. rallies at a huge church in Atlanta where they were “grooming” 20 young people into this plan, maybe a better word would be “indoctrinating” these 20 young people. They wanted me to cover several topics that would bend the minds of these young people into Warren’s plan. Instead, I felt compelled to take those topics and show the true spirit behind them and then give them the truth in what the Holy Spirit was accomplishing in regard to Spiritual Warfare. I don’t think the church leadership was very pleased, but Jesus was, and that’s all that counts in the end. I was very careful to not tear down the plan........only give them the "truth" and let God's Holy Spirit do the exposing. I continue to pray for these 20 young people that they will "know the truth, and the truth will set them free."
So, please do a little homework and check out this “Plan” for yourself and then warn your friends and family in case they are being DRIVEN off the road on PURPOSE.

A WARNING to the Southern Baptists everywhere
In rummaging around today in some of the "warning" websites, I ran across this little audio program from the Mike Corley show. The names, Brian McLaren, Doug Pagitt & Rob Bell, keep popping up all over the place in regard to "warnings" of this Emergent Church movement. But when several of the "warning" sites ( From The Lighthouse, Watcher's Lamp, Apprising Ministries ) all brought up this North Carolina State Baptist Convention (the Southern Baptist affiliate in North Carolina) having Doug Pagitt speaking at a Wired 2 Grow conference in October I felt it needed to have one more voice of "warning". Take an hour and listen to the program below and read for yourselves the many voices of "warning" from the ministries above.

INCORRECT SPONTANEITY
I just finished a piece on the benefits of "Spiritual Spontaneity" for the Practical Standing Blog and realized that the lack thereof is a hallmark of the apostate church. The apostate church has a spontaneity to it alright, but it could be labeled far from Spiritual. Maybe a better terminology would be; it is "spiritual" in nature, but not of the right "Spirit". A classic example of this would be when Jesus was discussing Himself with a group of "believing" Jews in John, Chapter 8;
John 8:31-32 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
On the surface you would think that these Jews were operating in correct spontaneity and that their motive was to truly be "free in Christ"..............but that was really not the case as you can see by the end of the dialog;
John 8:48 The Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?"
If you examine carefully the verses in between 32 & 48 (and I would recommend that you do so) you will see that the spontaneity that they thought was "spiritual" was really just the traditions of men being called "spiritual"..............but they were not truly "Spiritual".
Those that are not being led by God's Holy Spirit will be being led by some "spirit" for sure, and the end result will be apostasy................as you can see by verse 47;
John 8:47 "He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God."
However, if you stop at verse 48 you will miss full picture of apostasy.........check out 53;
John 8:53 "Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?"
Wow.........these "believing" Jews have got some kind of warped picture of this Jesus. Today you could rewrite this scripture in the apostate bible to read; Surely You are not greater than these incredibly brilliant & expensive programs we have designed to lure heathens into our churches with everything they could possibly want within a church setting..........tainted worship, twisted scripture, no absolutes, no accountability.........and on and on and on.
Spotting apostasy will become very easy if you are truly "Spirtually Spontaneous".........but if you are of the "spiritually spontaneous crowd" you can expect to hear the same things from Jesus that these poor "believing" Jews did;
John 8:42-44 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Let us continue to strive to "hear His word"

One small step for Man,,,one Giant leap into Apostasy
We look around us and what do we see............so much of the news today is pointing to this old world getting ready to come apart.............and what is this 21st Century church doing...........having a Rethink Conference. Check this out if you have the stomach for it;

Now I may be one of those simple people that just happens to think that God's Word has got everything in it to successfully accomplish the mandate of Jesus Christ, especially in regard to our thought life, after all, it does say;
Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
In some of the other translations the word "dwell" is THINK.
So my question is; what do we need a "Rethink" conference for anyway. Unless it's something being put forth by the enemy to get true believers off track..........to think along his vein. By the looks of some of the speakers involved in this thing.............Warren, Schuller, McManus, and a host of other apostates, it's not hard to see what the enemy is doing.
The apostle/prophet Paul warned the Thessalonian believers not to be deceived;
2Th 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
The word deceived can mean "thoroughly and utterly conned". If "friends don't let friends drive drunk".............then True Believers don't let other believers attend this kind of trash. Be a true believer and friend and "sound the alarm" before blinded leadership walk off into the sunset of apostasy.

Code Blue Code Blue
CODE BLUE
No.......this is not a K-Mart sale.......we all recognize this term as it is used within hospitals to warn of a medical crisis that needs immediate attention. On Friday's broadcast of Crosstalk, guest speaker Bannon Howse brings a very important and relevant program on the Code Blue situation within the American Church. I would encourage all to listen to this 50 minute broadcast. I am a personal witness of Bannon's testimony of being truly born again after years of pseudo salvation.........I was at some of the World View Weekends with him before his transformation.
If you would like to be able to share with friends or family who could be in one of these "pseudo salvation situations" this would be a good start. From this start you can get involved in one of the Code Blue Rallys being held across the country or even attend a World View Weekend if that is closer for you.
I truly believe that the best defense is a good offense and to have a good offense you need training from the best in TRUTH..............because that's what our enemy wants to destroy. He also wants to replace that TRUTH with a falsehood.........pseudo salvation.

"Baptists in North and South Dakota for a second year in a row gave away a new Harley Davidson at the Sturgis, S.D., biker rally in August. To be eligible, people had to listen to a 3-minute sermon and fill out a card to get a raffle ticket."
Wow.......a whole 3 minutes & a "ticket"......sound familiar........pitiful!
"This year at the Sturgis event, which attracts close to half a million people, about 4,500 people listened to the sermon and 870 of those made a profession of faith. The year before 744 of the 2,500 who listened made a profession of faith."
Now that's going to look mighty fine on the church's tally sheet.....just close your eyes, no looking around, just slip your hand up.........sound familiar.......pitiful!
"It cost about $13,500 to rent booth space for the week at Sturgis, and Hamilton said Baptists gave away a 2007 black Harley-Davidson DynaGlide. The bike retails for about $17,000, but Baptists got it for around $14,000."
Let's see........that's $27,500.00 of God's money for 870 Pseudo Salvation's.....anything here sound familiar......pitiful!

"Baptists in North and South Dakota for a second year in a row gave away a new Harley Davidson at the Sturgis, S.D., biker rally in August. To be eligible, people had to listen to a 3-minute sermon and fill out a card to get a raffle ticket."
Wow.......a whole 3 minutes & a "ticket"......sound familiar........pitiful!
"This year at the Sturgis event, which attracts close to half a million people, about 4,500 people listened to the sermon and 870 of those made a profession of faith. The year before 744 of the 2,500 who listened made a profession of faith."
Now that's going to look mighty fine on the church's tally sheet.....just close your eyes, no looking around, just slip your hand up.........sound familiar.......pitiful!

I really don't want to focus too much on this guy and his "ministry" Growing in Grace, they have both been pretty much exposed as a cult. I do however want to expose a classic tactic of our real enemy, Satan.
In warfare down through the ages a "diversion" ( see #5 below ) is a tactic used to keep your enemy guessing about a particular maneuver so that you can execute your plans in an easier way.

An interesting and critical side point is this; both of the words "mislead & deceives" are preceded by an important, and pointed, phrase......."see to it" and "make sure". Jesus and John are putting the ball back in our court. People are misled & deceived into following some of these people because they are not paying attention to the Spirit's guidance in the Word of God...........or they are just too stinkin busy. We are warned 8 times in the NT to "be on the alert..........we best heed the warning.
1 Pet 5:8 Be of sober {spirit,} be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Thus saith OBAMA
OHHHHHH............this is good!
Check out this little story I found on the Drudge Report this morning, here is an expert........
"Getting ready to talk to you today, I recall what Jesus said at the end of the Sermon on the Mount," Obama said at New Orleans' First Emmanuel Baptist Church. "He said, whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock."
"The rains descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. But it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock," he continued.
That rock, he said, was a principal of brotherhood exemplified by the church during Hurricane Katrina — but not the federal government.
Wow.............I've always thought that "THE ROCK" was Jesus......I guess Obama has gotten some "new revelation", probably from that "not-a-madrassa" school he attended in "peace-loving" Islamic Indonesia. Also, you really have to wonder which Jesus the First Emmanuel Baptist Church of New Orleans is following..........I don't think it's the same Jesus the scriptures speak of. More on.........Follow the $$$$
I awoke this morning with this whole "Ted" thing on my mind and immediately asked in prayer "what's up?". As I was praying I was "encouraged" to re-read the story about this travesty; Disgraced Pastor Ted. I believe my purpose for re-reading this was for the purpose of exposing something beyond the "motives & intentions of the man's heart". I was immediately grieved over the hundreds and perhaps thousands of people who, with all good intentions, are going to help this man continue to "go forth in ministry". This is a classic case of cheapening the gospel to mold and conform to the desires of man. It is something that has been "in the works" for a while now. Amy Grant is another example of this. All the while as she is sleeping with another woman's husband and eventually causing the divorce, then, marrying this guy and saying "it was a God inspired soul mate thing...........she was having a "ministry" to young people in The Barn. She sang a song years ago about "are you livin in an old man's trouble, are you listenin to the father of lies? If you are then you're headin for trouble, if you listen too long you'll eventually DIE". My question is; why didn't she listen to the words of her own song, what did she instill in the hearts of these young people.............which Jesus did she encourage them to give themselves to? You can ask the same questions of Ted...........what is he telling all these who will support him about the "Jesus" he serves..............which Jesus is he talking about. And, what will be the future walk of all these who "listen to the father of lies".

1 Tim 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Paul starts out the paragraph instructing his student, Timothy, in the things to look out for among people who do not hold to the same doctrines and sound words. He ends the paragraph with the "love of money thing". What is so interesting, if you read this in context, is that he starts out the next paragraph with some very strong words.......
1 Tim 6:11 ¶ But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance {and} gentleness
I found the following article tucked away in Fox News, I had wondered what had happened to "good ole Ted". Seems like you can pretty much do whatever you like, be a bit repentant, and make a few bucks off the deal. The part I can't stomach is asking the body of Christ to "support" you so you can continue to live a rather "comfortable" lifestyle, go back to school for a degree, and then launch out into a whole new "ministry"...............Wow.......that's really something. Watch your worship
I want to return to this topic of bringing worldly practices into the whole realm of worshipping Jesus Christ all for the purpose of incitement into a "decision" for a Jesus, but not the true Jesus. In one of the seminars I do on Spiritual Warfare I cover a section on "knowing your enemy's tactics" as commanded in scripture. Before Satan was cast to earth he was Lucifer, a very powerful angel created by God to be in charge of the worship of God. He knows exactly how to divert this "worship" away from the true Jesus to a false, worldly Jesus that has no power to redeem a lost soul......but to damn it to hell.......that's his plan......and he is very good at his trade. He has also enlisted many pseudo-evangelists to help him in his efforts........many of whom are unaware that they are doing so.......they just want to get young people "into church any way possible". I have a very interesting article by Dr. Roy Hargrave entitled "An Idol Called Evangelism" that speaks of this dangerous trend of "a decision at all cost". Another critique of The Purpose Driven Church

Early this morning as I was listening to a teaching on the Feast of Tabernacles I was reminded again of the vast difference there is in real biblical truth and the pseudo truth being blasted upon the unsuspecting church today. I thought of the hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting Christians that are sitting under false teaching this very morning and I was deeply grieved in my spirit. My prayer is the same as William Tyndale's "Lord Jesus, OPEN THE EYES........"
I found yet another critique of Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Church on the www.webtruth.org website and felt compelled to share it on this blog. Please, please, please, take a few minutes out of your busy "church" day and give it a read.

I think the thing that disturbed me the most was the part where it is stated that this book is the standard textbook in hundreds of Bible Colleges. Please be willing to "go against the flow" and warn your friends and family about this most sinister "scheme" of the enemy "within the camp".
By the way......the reason that over 400,000 pastors in 162 countries are being trained under this man...........Satan's goal is to deceive the whole world.......not just the American "sleeping" church.

Apostasy's Entertainment factor

I would HIGHLY recommend that you spend 53 minutes and listen to the Friday broadcast of Crosstalk America http://www.crosstalkamerica.com/ entitled "Entertainment Driven Christianity". According to the apostle/prophet Paul, the apostate church will be a church that is primarily an "entertainment driven church";
2 Timothy 4:2-4 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. (emphasis added by author)
As you listen to this you can get an idea of the depth of true Christianity your personal "church going experience" has been. One of the tests you can give to your church's practices is to see how much of the focus is inward rather than outward. How many of the "programs" focus on the needs of the body within the walls vs. the world's need of salvation outside the walls. Now, I am not saying that everything should focus outside, we most definitely need more true discipleship training (not church practice training)...........but I am sure you can come up with some kind of percentage to see the church's spiritual health. One thing to remember, the apostate church will rise quickly because many Christians will hide their heads in the sand and not expose anything for the sake of not wanting to cause a division. Tolerance is really a very nasty word.....especially within Christianity. We serve a very in-tolerant Savior & Lord.....and the Bible is one of the most in-tolerant books ever written.

They will also be willing to compromise the gospel of Jesus Christ to save what they have accumulated. Jesus was emphatic when he said "see to it that no one misleads you" (Matthew 24:4), and Paul in the same way with the Thessalonians, "let no one in any way deceive you"(2 Thes. 2:3). This last word "deceive" gives the implacation of being throughly & utterly CONNED. Keep alert as things progress into this apostasy. By the way...........Allah is not another name for the God of Abaham, Issac, Jacob & Jesus.........it is a name of a satanic spirit.
